I've always thought of the CTS-V wagon as Batman's family car.

Niiiice. First the Caddy. Get the mink stole for the wife, girlfriend (or both). Little Sinatra on the way. Throw on the Members Only jacket and get a nice veal parm at the Skyway diner. Niiiice.:D

This is a factory color. Looks like crap in the brochure, but having seen it in the flesh, I like it.

I ve been thinking about at CTS, DI/AWD but i am such a cheapskate.

i am curious about your impressions, i spend 50 miles of my commute at 80 mph each way.

Right now my Jetta does me fine, but my next car should be American.

I have checked the CTS V out this summer and have still an interest in them. Here is one locally. Why would someone be selling a 2012 one with 700 miles on it at a Saab dealership?

Cochran Cadillac-Saab..... both are (were) GM franchises
It was likely a GM-owned factory vehicle, used for promo or photo and couldn't be sold as new

The P-Car is one thing, but I'll be damned if I don't have an American car in my stable as a DD.
BTW, that Blue CTS V wagon is absolutely SICK!

I don't care for the sedan, but that wagon should be nice a few years down the road!

Funny, I was talking about the CTS-V sport wagon with one of my co-workers last week. I went to the Caddy website and played around with building one. I even picked that blue color. Too bad the budget for it just isn't there at this time. :(

We have two 6 cylinders CTS's. One has a really loud rear diff, so loud don't drive it. One has a blown head gasket. Not impressed.

There are two 2012 CTS-V Wagon 6 speeds being sold by GM corporate on Wednesday in Detroit. Both are Gray, one has black Recaros with Graphite wheels and 8,200 miles, the other light gray Recaros with Silver wheels and 7,500 miles. They should bring around $55K.

Too bad there's not a blue one, Eric...I'd have to buy it and keep it in Rick Lee's garage. ;)

Are they older, out of warranty? you should have a full warranty from Cadillac for 100,000 miles/5 years. Roadside assist, rental car, ect.

Jim Bremner 12-03-2012 09:28 AM

Why not take the diff out of the one with the blown head gasket or vice a versa and have a driver?
