There is the Sagarin Strength of Schedule rankings - here is the most recent (as of Dec. 1):

USA TODAY

Oregon is ranked #33

ND is ranked #30

Kansas State is ranked #19

Alabama is ranked #35

Georgia is ranked #41

And my Gators are ranked #16 :p

The Gator's only loss this year was to Georgia....by less than a TD. We had a very tough schedule as is indicated by the #16 ranking. When you hear comments like "the computers love this team or that team" it's because they go by strength of schedule rather than the "eye test". I think that is a good combination and I have no problem with how the teams ended up in rank by BCS this year.

What I do have a problem with is the bowl selection process. We are playing a 16 1/2 point underdog. That's pretty messed up.

I do believe they got it right with Bama and ND and The Ducks and KS. Those will both be fantastic games, IMHO.

Go Gators! ;)

And then take the winners from the two bowls and have a championship game for the title. :D

I really do think the top 25 should be forced to play x number of ranked oponent games within the season to remain ranked. Problem is teams perform well and then at the end of the year get the shaft because of BCS. NFL power rankings are for fun...the playoff system works.
