Need Help Giving KID a Car Name

I need HELP… naming my kid!

My wife is 3 months pregnant. I know, I know, congratulations! No, not really. I’m 42, I have four kids from a previous marriage, I thought I was past this phase in my life. But wife #2 wants a kid bad. I thought I’d appease her with a dog or two or three, but that didn’t work. So here I am, and I need to pick out a cool, car-related name for my kid because I frankly don’t give a crap if the kid grows up to hate me and their name. I just want to name them something cool.

So… I’ve got a good start because seriously my last name is Bristol. Up until recently “Bristol” was a car manufacturer in the UK. So the last name fits the car theme here, but what about the first and middle names?

If it’s a girl:

Porsche – obviously that fits as a first name. I don’t think Targa or Cabriolet fit well as a middle name, but what about Carrera? Porsche Carrera Bristol! Sounds too much like a stripper’s stage name…

Kay – that would be a reasonable first name. How about combining with a strange middle name, like Man? Kay Man Bristol!

Morgan – again a good girl’s name, but also another British car manufacturer. How about Morgan Porsche Bristol then? It would be better though to have a middle name from another British car company, especially one that hand assembles their cars like Morgan and Bristol. Is there another? Morgan Ascari Bristol, Morgan Lotus Bristol, Morgan TVR Bristol :-P

If it’s a boy:

Ferdinand – again, an obviously appropriate first name.

Ferry – I thought about this one. I moved recently to Texas from Northern California. I think this would work in NorCal as there are a lot of ferrys and fairies in San Francisco, but here in Texas I think it would just get his ass kicked.

Butzi – again, a good name for the kid to come home every day from school with a bloody nose…

Any other ideas or suggestions?

Since the Bristol's were AC Bristol's, how about a first and middle name starting with A and C. You could just call him AC for short.

The wife's waitresses name last night was Monaco. Dad must have been an F1 fan I thought.

My wife gave me the stank eye when I suggested it, but when we found out last year that we were having a little girl I suggested Sebring. Made sense to me since she was conceived trackside...

Girl: CARRERA / FERNANDA
Boy: FERDINAND

There is already a Cammie Edelbrock. So that name will work on multiple levels.
Just tell your wife you want to name your daughter Camille, like British royalty. Or tell her your great great grandmother who never had a girl so wanted to name a daughter Camille.

I did not think of Cooper, that is really appropriate as that is honestly my brother's middle name.

I also really like Cam. Good suggestions, keep them coming.

I don't have any car name suggestions but I'm an OB and the other day I had a couple name their son Craig Danger. So he could grow up and say, "Danger is my middle name." It has grown on me.
