why didnt they empty the bus and walk everyone across? that was difficult to watch.

edit: maybe they did..and that explains all the people with cameras

I took it that all the people milling about watching were from the bus, and some of the reaction was concern for their bags on board. Just a quick impression that I got while watching. I also thought that if the driver hadn't turned into the hill so much, he might have made it through.
Did anyone see the driver jump out at the last minute? I'm hoping.

Chilling to watch.
