What a way to start the work day
Yesterday, a sewage line started leaking into the ladies restroom and someone's office. A little discusting, but I realize $hit happens (sorry for the crappy pun). As I was leaving, I saw maintainence starting to work on it.
When I walk in this morning, I see this when I round the corner. Not outside of my office (mine is the one you can see at the end of the hall). http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1355409590.jpg They left the container being used to collect the sewage. I have a strong stomach, but I almost lost it. |
Looks like it's going to be a $h!tty day!:p

Well the obvious question is, was it still collecting? Did they make a fix and just leave it? or was it still dripping into the container? YUCK!

I think it's fixed. At least I hope so. I called to have it removed.
To boot. I dropped my wife's vehicle off to have brakes replaced. Just got the call that the brakes are fine, but the control arms need to be replaced - $1700 on a Highlander! Plus it's time for the the timing belt and water pump to be replaced. I'll just pencil in $3k. Then I should be happy when i see the final bill. Need to double check that and see if a new car is a better choice. I guess that was an omen. |
It really does sound like you are having ONE OF THOSE DAYS!
Hang in there, tomorrow could come up smelling like roses, Relatively speaking :-) Cheers Richard |
looks like the schituation is contained!

mmmmmm. onion soup.
|
That is nasty, some people have no common sense. I hope things work out with the highlander, because this is not the time of year to have unexpected bills pop up.
|
the pipe broke again and it was "raining" in the guy's office when he got to work. The executives are two floors above, you can guess the jokes this morning.

$h!t flows downhill!
