What a way to start the work day

Yesterday, a sewage line started leaking into the ladies restroom and someone's office. A little discusting, but I realize $hit happens (sorry for the crappy pun). As I was leaving, I saw maintainence starting to work on it.

When I walk in this morning, I see this when I round the corner. Not outside of my office (mine is the one you can see at the end of the hall).

They left the container being used to collect the sewage. I have a strong stomach, but I almost lost it.

Well the obvious question is, was it still collecting? Did they make a fix and just leave it? or was it still dripping into the container? YUCK!

Cheers Richard

I think it's fixed. At least I hope so. I called to have it removed.

To boot. I dropped my wife's vehicle off to have brakes replaced. Just got the call that the brakes are fine, but the control arms need to be replaced - $1700 on a Highlander! Plus it's time for the the timing belt and water pump to be replaced. I'll just pencil in $3k. Then I should be happy when i see the final bill.

Need to double check that and see if a new car is a better choice.

I guess that was an omen.

That is nasty, some people have no common sense. I hope things work out with the highlander, because this is not the time of year to have unexpected bills pop up.

the pipe broke again and it was "raining" in the guy's office when he got to work. The executives are two floors above, you can guess the jokes this morning.
