So its official!? First impressions styling I like it... un-cluttered and clean. Interesting when the first gen was inspired by British roadsters and now classic Italian.

If they can keep it looking like that and stick an Alfa 4-cylinder inside, sign me up.

From what I've read the Alfa and Mazda versions are going to be using different engines.

I like it but can you drive it at night? Does it have headlights?

Where are the door handles?

Is there a version with a roof?

I'm with Nota. Just looks like a stylistic version of a MX-5

The Alfa Spyder was beautiful. Just make the frame stiffer, and the car lighter. That is all.

Italian design with Japanese engineering - what's not to love?

I think it's beautiful.

Hate to be Captain Bringdown, but that's not going to be the new Alfiata; that's the '2uettottanta' concept by Pininfarina, made to celebrate their 80th anniversary in 2010. From what I gather, the only shared item will be the chassis and rear drive layout. Styling and powertrain will be unique to the manufacturer.
