May he RIP.
It was probably 40 years ago was when I first met them. At a place called Love Valley, NC just outside Statesville. They took care of my best friend who was having a bad trip. Had him at the head of the table eating eggs and bacon and smoking you know what. |

saw them as a warm up band for spirit
they were better live then on any record in fact there were many boo's when the lead act came on as the brothers were so much better then the headliners |

I love the Allmond Bros music!
Growing up in Fla, they were at the top of the Southern Rock style music. Doesn't sound like much of a way to go out. Cheers Richard |

I wasn't a huge AB band fan but I know that they were a big part of many people's life soundtracks.

Rest in Peace Butch Trucks
I've always been a huge Allman Brothers fan. I listen to Stormy Monday off the Fillmore album at least once a week I bet. Saw them in 1973 at RFK Stadium with the Dead, awesome all day concert, although to be honest I don't remember much of it.
