i think on a glock..(i have one, but my memory is waning) you have to have the firing pin/hammer dropped prior to disassembly right? so you actually need to dry-fire it? i'm new to glocks. i still need to run the drill a few more times.
any gun, i need a visually clear chamber. |
Yes, you have to dry fire it before removing the slide. Still no excuse whatsoever for not clearing the gun before you get that far. None. And even if you didn't, you should still have muzzle discipline. But then if you're already so careless as to not clear the gun, well....
