Zero Dark Thirty, Savages and End of Watch
Saw the hotly debated movie today and it was a fairly stressful movie with little humor anywhere. If that was the purpose then it was served very well! The other two movies had moments of tense action and in Savages I really liked the local scenes, especially the first meeting at the hotel as my wife and I stayed there some years ago! Also the exit signs when driving down I-5 were a neat and realistic touch! End of Watch was a very wild mixture of crazy humor and a build up to tremendous sadness at the end and it was the first movie we have watched more than once in a long time!
For those that watch the gun action closely, they are pretty close to real life I think? |

I thought End of Watch was a great movie. I thought it captured a lot of the personalities at work and the dangers associated with this job.
