Meh.... The cheap multis from harbor freight work just fine, and both of them make the same splatter when you drop them from 25'+ off the ground...

Except a kubota..... Which runs better...

RWebb 01-05-2013 03:27 PM

yes, Bresse chicken, Dott

I was thinking of nominating La Tache or something, but I think Laloo or someone besides DRC can sell it now

aren't there various 'brands' of Bresse chickens?

in general, I suspect that there is just a time window (set by patent or other IP law) during which some product is the best

after that, others can and will offer competitive products

RWebb 01-05-2013 03:27 PM

anything from Harbor Freight!

Sorry, but no. In the world of high end, McIntosh is mediocre. Think VTL for glowies. Or Burmester or Rowland or some old YBA for solid state. It depends. ;)

You want the BEST... Undisputed.

Starrett No.491. This has to be the best on the planet. This one is US made.

As mentioned Fluke multimeter. (179) Still 100% US made.

These are from an Aussie manufacturer, Vesper. They are sold around the world.
IMHO... The best there is right now.
