I fcuking had the USADA. What a bunch of dickheads. He's retired for pete's sake. And I don't even care if he did dope. So many did back then.
He should keep all his victories.

How do they have the authority to strip him of the titles? Don't the French have a say?
He passed hundreds a drug tests. So how is he guilty?

They should strip past champions of their title also, but that wouldn't be fun because it wouldn't make headline news. I am not sure if I understand how can the USADA have the power to strip a person of their title while the race he won is overseas? Was the USADA around when he won the world years ago ( I assume they were)? I never like Armstrong, but this is BS.

That sucks big time. He would be shattered... His entire career wiped out just like that.
![]() But the USADA wouldn't strip him of his titles unless "they" were sure of his guilt. Well you'd hope they were sure. Why would they victimise him if he was innocent? That just doesn't make sense.

According to the Reuters news agency, Lance Armstrong is not giving up. He says the CEO of the USADA, Travis Tygart, has a personal grudge against him and is repeatedly denying him a fair hearing, and that the USADA is threatening other cyclists and forcing them to cooperate with the USADA strategy. He also says the USADA does not have legal authority to strip him of his titles. He is currently appealing to two international cycling agencies to have the USADA officially cited and removed from any sanctioning authority.
I think he has finally decided to take the gloves off and go after his opponent. _ |

I don't care whether he did or didn't. Still a champion on or off the bike.
To me, he still won all those titles and I'll keep watching my highlights DVD's for enjoyment and motivation. His achievements for cancer sufferers trumps all the rubbish that USADA throw his way.

Its a BS witch hunt.
If they are so worried about doping in the sport they better go and check every winner of every race.

I think the Olympic runner, Viveien? Jones tested clean over 150 times during her career. Then she came clean and said she was using them all along. You can "mask" tests in all kinds of ways. Lance just happened to know the system.
