				Thunderbirds (1960's TV Show)

Pretty well everything that was feature on the show (cell phone to maned Space Station) came to be. I got a nice newspaper photo but can't figure out how to load from an iPad thunderbird muppet creator funeral picture - Google Search

Cult like following the world over except in the US. Bought the full DVD set for my 7 year old son to watch. He is enthralled but I probably enjoy them even more than he. Despite the rudimentary effects the screenplay and camera work create more real suspense than many big budget modern movies I have seen. I think Gerry Andersen paved the way for every sci-fi or fantasy director since. Way ahead of his time.

Loved the show as a kid, had all the vehicle toys in metal, not plastic, they were indestructible. Space 1999 was also a fav.
