Has Texas even forgiven the Dixie Chicks? Just askin'
|
I like Popeyes.
|
I like turtles.
|
Toby Keith writes great songs.
Who did "Solo Red Cup"? I think he did. |
the question is and should be........... whether or not Texas should ever be forgiven for unleashing the Dixie Chicks on the rest of us, states, countries, citizens of earth, etc., in the first place.
I don't think so. |
They are SO manufactured like MOST of the NEW Country CRAP !
Go to Out Law Radio if you want some real stuff Not wonder bread junk with no sense No music no originality. Get Real turn on- Jimmy Dale Gilmore Lucinda Williams Elizabeth Cook Texas Tornadoes To name a few |

From Garth FWD most if New country SUCKS (what they play on top 40 FM)
The CMA has a AGENDA.and its not the best music, But the best money they can BAKE music...for the mindless millions...... You do not hear Hank 111 or 1000 of other real great artiest and songs ..Just the same ol drone of cheap 6th grade rhymes |
By not proof reading my original post, I meant to say "ever" forgiven and not "even"
forgiven. English is not my first language. Changed the meaning a bit sorry. Also I agree, Lucinda Williams is an amazing entertainer, a real treasure. Also Gram Parsons is my all time favorite. Carry on. |
Dixie Chicks...that ain't music of any kind, least of all country.
|
Chicks love it when you call them chicks.
|
We forgive.......
I just get on a rant pretty EZ LOL Most the shiny Newcomers will be for ever Goners in a couple years In actuality I have in the last few years started appreciating song writers more then the singers ! To put so much in so little of a space is genius ! Where would we be with out Glassmen Kristopherson Billy swan and a 100 others ? If i Never hear billy ray sirus or any of the mumbling neon brained idiots again that will be just fine with me ! |

the dixie chucks flipped off their fans and then tried to cross over into pop. they forgot the monkey principle of never letting go of one branch before having a firm grip on the other.
fred eaglesmith chris knight robbie fulks hank III sunny sweeney jason and the scorchers kasey chambers drive by truckers neco case robert earl keen and of course Dwight Yoakam |
some of the stuff out of nashville isn't bad. but for every tolerable song they have to play a McGraw/Chesney/Underwood abortion.
|
steve earl, Wanda Jackson, Tom Russel
|
