NRA Life Membership $300 for Everyone
I just upped mine to life for $300 and it took about five minutes. Normally, the NRA has been doing this if you were referred by a current life member, but apparently Tom Gresham of GunTalk referred everyone. As far as I can tell, they set up a new hotline to take the information.

With all the money they're collecting, I don't understand why they can't hire an image consultant and a good ad agency or two.

I think it was $100 when I joined. I suppose it's about the same after inflation.
