What do you single guys do.....

to stay single. How do you avoid falling in love? You have the rest of your lives to think about it but would appreciate your theories/system?:):)

But why?

onewhippedpuppy 01-17-2013 11:23 AM

I wasn't aware staying single was the challenge? Seems like that would be rather easy.;)

Fhap, fhap, fhap, fhap, fhap, fhap, fhap, fhap, fhap,

Disappoint them early and often.
ABC, always be closing.

If you aren't married you are cheating someone out of a good divorce.

For the win.

Find a woman you hate and buy her a house. It's cheaper.

SeanPizzle 01-17-2013 12:18 PM

you pay them to leave

I use my personality.

flatbutt 01-17-2013 12:48 PM

Honestly...I just haven't fallen in love since my divorce. And frankly, at this age (60) what would be the point of getting married?

ckelly78z 01-17-2013 01:06 PM

I've been married for 25 years and would never consider cheating on her or leaving, however, if something tragic were to happen..........I probably would never marry again.

I could see myself with 2-3 friends-with-benefits and loving the single life. I don't think it would be difficult to stay that way !

johnco 01-17-2013 01:39 PM

up untill my 40's I aways thought there would be something better out there. after that, they aways felt that about me

Hugh R 01-17-2013 01:46 PM

Johnco, true that. I know several widows/divorcee's who are obsessed with finding another man/gold mine. BTW, you still owe me an honorary "coon ass" t-shirt.

johnco 01-17-2013 01:52 PM

Hugh, haven't seen any shirts but I did get you some stickers. just never sent them to you for some reason. had them in an addressed envelope but put them somewhere

That's what they all say until some good looking girl comes along and plays a tricky woo on you(aka a conniving b..ch)......and then you are toast:):)

I'm in love...I just haven't told my wife about her yet! ;)

Hugh R 01-17-2013 02:09 PM

Johnco, no worries. I wish I could get another gig down there. The day I left, I went to the docks, per your suggestion, and bought about 5 pounds of shrimp, each was the size of my hand. I went to Walmart, bought a cooler and shipped it home, as luggage. I think it was some insanely cheap prices like $4/pound. When I got home the wifey asked if it was fresh and and I said "it was caught about 10 hour ago". It made the local supermarket stock taste like paste.

sammyg2 01-17-2013 02:49 PM

Back when I was single i would fall in love several times a week ;)

I'm kinda with you on this one. I'm 62 - divorced for 6 yrs. Not getting married. not sure I will fall in love. Not sure I want to.

I think at his stage of my life, I have heard or experienced all of the drama I can take and I want no part of it. I don't have the energy for it.
