Oxy Acetylene Goggles?

I just picked up an oxy acetylene outfit but it doesn't have goggles. I'm not doing anything important with it just playing around in the garage. The part that always freaks me out the most about welding/cutting is the goggles/welding shield part (eye protection basically). So I'd like to play around with cutting and also welding with my new outfit. Where can I get a good pair of goggles that give proper safety? I don't mind spending more to get something with more protection. Thanks all.

Welding Supply Store Is the best place to start. Farm And ranch store should have them also.

The goggles both protect and cut the glare of the flame when welding or cutting.

The regular open side glasses don't cut it- sparks bounce behind them into the eyes.
The square ones are a little heavy.
Suggest a face shield Welding Goggles.

Respirator a must.
Low gas and crack the O2 for a cleaner start.

Cool thanks for the tips.

I just picked up a pair of these on lunch but are they not enough: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100341089/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=welding+goggles&storeId=10051#.UPmfnSdEFIY

Could you tell me more about the respirator? I've only ever been around arc fux core wire feeds so the whole gas weld thing is new to me.

Grinding, cutting, anything with air born tiny metal vapors is probably NG (no good).
