Who is going to watch the Inaugural coverage.

Going to be a long day. Suppose this will end up in PARF but thought I'd start it here.

LOL. I think I have some toilets to scrub, that sounds more pleasant.

All 1500 "Keydets".

They are the last group. I think I mentioned before that my Dad marched at Truman's Inauguration went he was a Cadet at West Point.

Circle of life. I have an old B&W of him in the parade...I'm sure we'll have a bit more coverage on this one:cool:

I won't be watching but I'm hoping for him to be apolitical and uplifting in his address. Save the politics for tomorrow.

Not I...huge waste of time and taxpayers money if you ask me. Should be a simple swearing in and done. 5 minutes. No hoopla needed.

I'd rather perform my own dental surgery ..........then watch that BS.

Truth be told, I wouldn't watch it if the other guy had won. There's just nothing about the whole event I care to see. Adoring sheeple worshipping a politician makes me sick, regardless of party. When I lived there, this was the day I stayed home and usually went to the range.

Whether or not you support the administration there's always the office we can respect.

Of course some are a little too small-minded for that type of thought process. ;)

That said - I don't get too excited watching these things. Even though I respect the office these ceremonies are way over the top and a reminder of how Washington wastes our tax dollars.

I watched some of it. The ceremony and traditions of our democracy are nice. He gave the shortest inaugural speech in recent memory, which was refreshing.

It's all part of what makes america great, and what it stands for. You should all be proud to be part of it.

I would be surprised if Barrack Hussain actually has his hand on the Bible, but I could see the Koran in it's place.
