armscorp M-14 stainless SCORE!

yepper my amigo just SCORED a rarer than rare armscorp stainless receiver( i have never even seen one) with kreiger stainless barrel M-14, with collapsible rear stock , bayo lug, usgi flash hider,1913 rails, built by another amigo of mine who builds them for DOD! (dept of defense)

kreiger barrel started life at 22" and was cut down to 18". mcmillian f/glass tan stock. samo as what was shipped to iraq and afghan for platoon DM's(designated marksmen)

another M-14 saved!

if i told you how much...................you would all cry. i am crying as i write it was so cheap, with current market conditions.

cant wait to get this out and put it thru the paces. it hurts my eyes its so beautiful! wipe up drool here!

sometimes it truly IS ALL ABOUT THE TIMING! and who ya know.

will try and get pics when he picks it up. if anybody knows or has a armscorp stainless receiver, yell our way with impressions/comments.

p.s. anyone interested and has the COLD HARD CASH..................i know of a m-14 supermatch, mcmillian f/glass stock, custom built, hand fitted sights, hand fitted crisp trigger group. f/glass stock can be painted any color..............FOR SALE!

when iraq and afghan lit off, all services were clamoring for m-14's. it was so bad that mfg's could not supply,so they recalled all CMP/DCM m-14's, installed new barrels on them, outfitted them, uberized them and shipped them off.

if interested in real live honest to gawd match shooter, i will forward my builders phone number and you can make contact.

one thing..............plan on having LOTS of COLD HARD CASH! it aint cheap, but you will be the "belle of the ball" at yer next 1000 yard match!

another public service announcement promoting spoons and the shooting sports!

this unit will make a springfield armory supermatch out of the box, look tame for performance.

ohhh that looks like fun! grab them while ya can.

pics i wish i had pics. didnt have phone nor camera with me sorry. when buddy goes back or i do to pick up my m40a-1, i will snap some.

i mean be ready to spend upwards above $4000 for bare bone rifle, add then paint on f/glass stock, and anything else you want added/done/or deleted for non spoon friendly moron states.

supermatch handfitted trigger handfitted sights every damn thing on it touched with loving hands of a real old world ex marine corp armorer craftsman. mcmillian stock bedded. this is a real live CAMP PERRY SHOOTER! it will outshoot probably 99.9% out of 100 people.

with custom handloads i believe this would get ya on the podium anywhere.

if someone is really interested..........pm me and you can talk straight to the horseys mouth and bypass me. owner can blast ya pics.

I would love something like this, but I think .50 is more likely first...

interesting note i heard yesterday. .50BMG's are NOT on BAN LIST! WTF???? check it out. we couldnt believe our eyes that they didnt include them on list. neither did .338 lapua's make the list. ie. check out FNH 's "ballista" platform introduced at shotshow 2013 on you tube.

also red beard, take a good hard look at the .416 BARRETT round BEFORE you buy a .50bmg. wayyyyy more downrange uummmppph and further hits on targets than .50bmg. DOD is also ordering these from our amigos here. simply longer range and flatter shooting round. and we looked at one up close and personal. they iz PURDY DAMN BIG and SCAREY!

heres a supermatch. the one for sale can be stuffed into the exact same usmc f/glass stock. YOU NAME the color. obviously less optics unless you want them also. scope mt rings scope all extra $$$$$$

its another way of saying YOU OWN A 1000 yds 360 degrees around you and no booger men can bother you.

Out west... where you have a line of sight of 1000 yds...that would be the ticket. Here, I don't envision protecting a cleared area with radius of more than 100 yds.

well then you MUST entertain yourself some time with hickok45 on you tube and watch him vaporize 8x8x16 cinder blocks with a m-14.

more fun than i can stand. what a HOOT!

hickok45 tests various platforms real world shooting. at dinger dongers/qt plastic pepsi jugs/steel plate at all yardages. i mean this GUY IS DAMN GOOD! its his backyard. its real world. unrehearsed fall down laughing video.

name the platform pistol/rifle/shotgun..............he shoots the hell out of them and then does a basic teardown for the FNG owner to understand how to take apart and put back together. very very informative.

hickok45 is one of the last people you would EVER want to square off with........TRUST ME HES THAT GOOD! another example of "practice makes perfect"

very very entertaining to say the least. has scads of videos posted.

quite the contrary as far as the stainless steel receivers. there are over 200 machining ops on a m-14 receiver. it is very complicated, very dimensional critical to the nats azz. our builder is over 70 yrs old. has been building them for the marine corp and DOD and another mfg. he holds these stainless receivers as the HOLY GRAIL! and hes a camp perry medalist. i think when someone like that tells us its the holy grail............i believe him hands down.

the one that is for sale is NOT a armscorp stainless receiver. i do not know origin. if interested in this supermatch pm me and i will give ya his phone #. but ya gotta be ser-i-azz interested in buying it. hes way to busy to talk to "looky loo's".

we about crapped ourselves when we saw how many spoons he is working on.

Just read up on Armscorp down at m14forum.com, it was the old 80'ies receivers from a certain time when they had soft steel receivers that caused problems with headspacing changing as the bolt was beating the soft receiver.

modern ones seem to have a really good rep.
