It's getting very good press in Germany though. Many in Europe will not consider a car larger than a 3 series because of parking issues etc. This is marketed as a larger 3 series. More room for kids and luggage on holidays etc. But same small external dimensions. The loading platform under the window is a big plus for people transporting things from time to time etc. Also the car looks much better in real life than in these pictures, and the build quality is very high to justify the "GT" pretensions. It will certainly sell well.
