How hard would this be to fix ?
  I keep looking for hail damaged travel trailers on co part, and other auction sites, but I keep seeing them with similar roof damage. Seems like a guy like me could make short work of something like this. I could care less, if I end up with a visible seam on the outside. What do ya think?

If you don't care about the seam in the Filon it doesn't look too bad. You'll also have to repair the rubber roof and the inside. Everything else is structure. Make sure the slide still works correctly.
EDIT... I went on the auction website and checked it out. There is alot of damage inside. The cabinet that houses the microwave is about ready to fall off the wall. The rear stabilizer jack laying on the floor inside indicates that it took a real bad hit or the unit was pulled away when the stabilizer was still lowered. The air conditioner on top is wiped out too. The cover on the vent is missing which would allow water to enter the unit. Same with the hole in the side. It'd be alot of work, but the parts are cheap.

I had to help replace the top on a box truck that had a bridge incident, there is a lot more to it than you would think

You can replace them with 1 piece rolled aluminum. Its better then seams anytime. How ever its a Days work ! (for sure)
The one Pictured seems to have structural damage too .....Its EZ, Just TIME COMSUMING. Trailors are put to gather with "NOW For Something Completely Different " as Monty Python said. Its 1.5 studs LARGE LARGE Staples....and nothing usual in regular building trades

If you've got the time....
My dads Lance Camper got damaged when a hunting buddy ran into a car port with it. I was shocked at how much it cost to repair. Making it look right may not seem difficult, but making it look right, structurally sound and H2O proof has to be done right. |

My buddies wife side swiped a pole the first time she pulled their huge Weekend Warrior toy hauler 5th wheel. Was over $14k to replace one side if it.....

If that's a pop out on the side, I would be concerned about that seam to right in the first picture. That could be expensive to fix if it won't pop out easily. The map on the back shows that it has some miles on it also. I have seen a few good ones around here (5 to 10 years old) going for the $5k to $7k range. Looks like this one was a pretty substantial hit. Frame could be racked (look at second picture.) This looks like more than a pound and seal job.
Plus.... The former owners were patriots fans....
