NO... I thought the 2014 screamin' AMGized small hotrod is going AWD! My question earlier was whether the AWD torque split was more rear biased vs. the conventional MB 4MATIC split. For the E63 AMG changed the 4matic to more rear bias and lighter weight, less complexity so my guess is they would do the same for this.

Do you get these Renaults in the USA? My missus took delivery of this lst week. RS265 Megane. This one is a RedBull special, she had all the decals removed.

265 neddies through the front wheels, Renault Sport has developed a very trick front diff arrangement which all but eliminates nasty FWD tendencies.

This the only FWD car Ive been impressed with, ever. Its a pretty awesome little thing.

Renaults haven't been sold in the US for close to 30 years.

They went out on a high note with the Encore and Alliance, though. It may take another 30 years before that poisoning of the well is cleared up.

We saw this thing, would you believe, parked outside Notre Dame in Paris about 18 months ago, and she fell in love on the spot. So a few days later we hired a Megane - this same two door hatch body- but a pedestrian version, turbo diesel, and drove it in France for a few weeks. I was impressed that car as a daily drive. Well made, well appointed, good handler, easy to live with with. So we took chance on the hot rod RS265. So far, Im very impressed, its a proper fast car and would eat my 964 across any bit of twisty road. Great big 4 pot Brembos and slotted rotors. The onbord technology is a bit overwhelming. Time will tell- but so far, so good. And she loves it.

no love for the 4.0L turbo Falcon? the G6E version is an 11 second family truckster with nothing more than a tune and exhaust.
