Did you see Page, Plant at the forum last time around? I went and it was OK.

no, and yes, I just listened to the clip that they showed. Not the same. Still I would like to see them I was in 8th grade when they broke up.

It's a huge regret that I never did get to see them live. I wouldn't let some money stop me if it comes up again.

I got talked out of taking my Dad to see Stevie Ray Vaughan by my ex-wife a month later Stevie was dead. Stevie Ray Vaughan-Pride And Joy - YouTube

Since them I made sure to see The Rolling Stones as well as BB King, When I went to see the Stones I went as wanting to see them for the history of it and left a fan. Even if they're not as sharp as they where back in the late 60's they have played a fine show the both times that I saw them.

The last concert the reformated (with Jason Bonham) Led Zeppelin did was in 2007? This reunion stuff could be veery inteeeresting.... I understood that after that concert Page and Jones wanted to tour but Plant said no. Now he is saying yes on his own? Doesn't sound like they are all on the same page yet (no pun intended.)

This would be very cool if they managed to pull it off.

But I have to say unless I am fairly close to the front with a fairly unobstructed view, the concert thing for me anymore is not a plus.

I do enjoy watching the videos and listening to the music.

Live.....only if I get a decent seat....

I was at the Alpine Valley show. Was so foggy, we didn't even attempt to drive away after. Spent the night in the lot. It was a great show.

Never saw Led Zep, only Robert Plant. I'd probably go if it happens.

One of the only plusses of seeing a concert with a person in a wheelchair is that you tend to get a great spot at stage level about 50 feet away

Their performance at O2 was exceptional, with vitality and excitement I see lacking from the other biggest band in the world, The Rolling Stones (who have been "phoning it in" imo that past 10 years).

Have seen them all (save Bonzo) on their own in one iteration or the other, would love to finally see them play together. Fingers Crossed...

Saw them June 27, 1980 Hemmerleinhalle Neunkirchen, Germany. Bonham passed out after the third song (Black Dog) and ended up seeing them a week later in Munich where Simon Kirke Of Bad Company joined them for the last 2 songs.

In Neunkirchen playing "Nobody's Fault But Mine".....

Saw them every tour in the '70s, I'd have no desire to see them at all now. I was definitely a LZ fan but never thought they were all that great live.

Man, you are an old dude. That happened when I was in the 8th grade also. They were schedule to come to LA in the next couple of years. I was so happy. By then, I would have been driving and that would have been the thing to look forward to. OH well. No more concerts for me but I would have love to see CSN 10-15 years ago. But I was not a big fan then.

I'll believe it when it happens....but I doubt it will. They were so steadfast in their denial of any hope they might tour that I believe them. Other groups (i.e. Eagles, etc) joke about not touring but you know if the money is right, they will show up.

Led has been offered insane amounts of money over the years and always turned them down. After the O2 one off show where tickets were going for $1500-$????? the money offered went from insane to incomprehensible and they still said no.

I've been wrong before and I hope I am this time, but I doubt it. But hey, if Fox says its true, it must be:/

Just to identify... I graduated high school in 1975...
HUGE LZ fan! and the Who and Pink Floyd and...

However...

No_way_no_how will I support this whole "reunion" of the classic mega dreadnought rock bands...

Sorry... but I'm calling BS... watching a bunch of old guys trying to relive their glory days... not my cup of tea... seems just sill to me... YMMV

Now... GET OFF MY LAWN!

I saw LZ several times during their first tour....along with pretty much all the bands in the late 60s early 70s.....not sure my ears could handle it these days!
I had a habit of keeping ticket stubs....just couldn't remember where they were the next day!
Here's one that I saw them play at the Forum in LA 1972

Craig: Thanks for the photos and also the ticket stub Rob. VERY cool gents!

PS: I got ticket stubs too. Gotta get them out someday.

Not to hijack the LZ thread but any of you guys see Mountain live? Saw them twice at the coliseum in Jacksonville in '71 or '72. Stayed overnight at my Uncle Ray and Aunt Kay's. That was so cool.

Any amount of money, anywhere...
I hate to say this, but I'd sell the 911 in order to go.
