New one to me but I'm in that place on the underside of the world. This definition gave me the giggles.
Usually the result of a hangover, a hot mess can be described as the diarrhea or abnormal bowel movements you have the morning after a night of heavy drinking. I suppose it could be similar to the term 'a dogs breakfast' when used in a different context from the one above...although...
