A little update. Got the dash recovered and put back in, knocking loose a few wires so that the panel lights stopped working, and pulled her out of the garage to clean the floor. She's purring along nicely now. All electrics work (Lucas be damned), with lights, turn signals, etc. I did notice that the speedo doesn't work now, so I'm assuming in my stupidity I switched the good one with a bad spare, and cleaned and installed the bad one. I'm almost certain the one it in worked before. I'll clean the other and throw it in - compared to a 911 gauge it is really easy to take apart and clean, since the bezel just twists off.
I'm doing the dash and door cards in black ultrasuede, and so far it looks pretty cool. I think the caps of the doors etc I'm going to do in a really deep red vinyl, to contrast with BRG paint. Got to get black carpet ordered too.

Just recently sold a TR3 '56 small mouth transitional car (11 in discs etc)....lots of fun
Pr Blog's (prb51) Library | Photobucket scroll thru and you'll see all of the mods I did to it...5 speed tranny, R&P, etc...I used to spank Miata's with it. Still have a ton of old parts about so if you're looking for anything let me know, would go on the inexpensive side for sure.
