Rock & Roll HOF 2019

Haven't seen a thread of this yet, don't know if there is anything that can be spoiled.

My critique:
Stevie Nicks is really getting old. Tons of make-up, sounded OK but seemed like it was piled higher and deeper. Maybe product overload.

I was vaguely familiar with the band name roxie music, had heard it a few times over the years but was not familiar with any of their work. After seeing the first song, I realized why. Fast forward, NEXT!

The zombies were cool and sounded good except the vocals were tired and strained, maybe because the singer is in his 70's.
WHY WEREN'T THEY INDUCTED 5 OR 10 YEARS AGO instead of all those nobody PC picks?

Def leopard was OK, for an 80's hair band.
Will somebody tell grandpa to put his friggin shirt back on? Geez.

Janet Jackson refused to perform out of protest, because HBO showed a documentary that exposed her PERV brother as the homo predator stalker PEDO he was.
And I thank her for that, I didn't want to see her perform and she didn't belong there anyway.

The Cure sounded the best, really good.
But what I really want to know is this: who is the prankster who dug up Elizabeth Taylor's corpse and put it on stage behind the microphone?

Your mileage may vary

You didn't about Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music?

Maybe you aren't the best person to be posting on this topic.

People like Janet Jackson and other "Pop Stars", I get your point.

This list was originally published before the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. It’s been updated (with new interviews with nominating committee members) and revised for this year’s ceremony, which takes place this week at the Barclays Center on March 29. This year’s inductees — the Zombies, Janet Jackson, Radiohead, Roxy Music, the Cure, Def Leppard, and Stevie Nicks — have been added to the list.

I posted MY opinion, you posted SOMEONE ELSE's opinion. Perfect.

Tell ya what, you've ruined enough threads here lately. How about you go lay in the litter box and leave this one alone.

Your insults are ruining your own thread, maybe not the time to clean your gun, you seem quite careless today.

My opinion is you don't know music, but I at least you are transparent about your ignorance.

Long live Rock.

Love the Zombies, it is a shame they weren't inducted sooner. Susanna Hoffs on the other hand...wow.

Stevie is Stevie.

Cure sounded great as always.

Easy with the foundation Joe Elliot.

I do not have the time to formulate an in-order list of my own.

I referenced the list because it contains the names of the inducted.

My music library is more or less my list, and it is long and varied.

Lots of Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music included, progressive Rock and what used to be called "New Music" too.

Well, the HOF has never been known for it's great taste, more like a bunch of industry types stroking each other.

You are absolutely the unchallenged PPOT Grandmaster of Google. We all get that. You can find anything. Hell, the next time I lose my car key's, I'll give you a call.

Your problem, kach, is that while you excel at looking things up, you have proven time and time again that you are unable to understand the materials you post. Then when someone comes along who does, who has actual first hand experience that contradicts your hard-earned Goggle knowledge, your response has consistently been to attack them. You really do get quite pissy and unrelenting about it. You have embarrassed yourself no end, you have secured your place as one of the least respected members of this forum. And yet in spite of dozens of members' admonitions to stop digging, to put down the shovel, you just keep digging yourself in deeper and deeper. It's obvious to us all that you simply cannot let go. Many of us have suggested you need help, and not as a way just to chide you further.
