A curved shower curtain rod?

Really? Some marketing genius thought THIS was an important feature to include in a hotel room description?

I booked my flight/hotel for a business trip to Baltimore in April today. In choosing the room setup, all of them list a "curved shower rod".

Admittingly, I have not travelled out of state much but is this really important to hotel guests?

Oh.....I have never flown in a commercial plane or been to a major airport.

I don't think it's worth advertising, but we have one and it is better than a straight rod. It really helps with the elbow room.

Makes it so the shower curtain isn't rubbing against you, good idea, but surprised they advertise it, they have been around quite a while.

I've had one for years, a very nice, inexpensive little luxury. Surprised a hotel would advertise it, I haven't seen a hotel room without one for a long, long, time.

Exactly. I don't remember the last hotel I I stayed in without one. My dad put one in as well. Very nice, I enjoy the extra room and I'm a smaller guy.

It's Like when you look on a new car sticker and it features "remote hood release".

For hotel guests needing a scosch more room? I guess the confines of a regular tub isn't large enough for one .... or some.

Saw them in H.D. a few years ago & put them in two of our bathrooms. I didn't realize they were such an inovative item as I'd never noticed them before. They are a good idea.

What, you guys don't like the feeling of the curtain grabbing or getting a feel of your ass during a hot shower?

They are for fat people. Fat people will check for the curved rod. And small guys with big elbows.

Hotels have apparently stumbled upon a quirky must-have for US hotel guests. Next innovation will be curved TP holders, banana-shaped TV remote controls, sway-back beds and carnival mirrors to make our collective asses look more svelt.

If that was the primary reason, they should install stirrups and wrist straps in there.
