Low carb eaters, what do you have for breakfast?

I struggle with this because I love my oatmeal plus it's really fast to make. I don't have time to cook up eggs every morning so I am looking for ideas. A coworker said she eats salad for breakfast. That's just weird to me. What do you eat?

When I'm on top of my game: at least 3 whole eggs and 3 egg whites and a slice of mozzarella. I'll add a serving of old fashioned oatmeal at times also. Protein is key in the morning. Complex carbs not horrible in addition to your protein source.

Example
Week one
Only protein, green leafy vegetables Breakfast lunch and dinner
In between snack twice daily whey protein and 22 almonds.
1.5 hrs before bed casein protein powder or low fat cottage cheese
Week two
add complex carb at breakfast
Week three
add complex carb breakfast/lunch
week four
add complex carb breakfast/lunch/dinner
Repeat...I get at least 1 gram protein of bodyweight per day usually 1.5
This is hard to stick to but you'll definetly see results especially with a solid work out plan. I also will supplement before and after workouts.

Eggs. Really doesn't take much more time to scramble up a couple (crack them in the pan and stir around with a fork while cooking).

This shouldn't take too much longer than boiling your water for oat meal if you prepare some items the night before. 2 egg whites sliced green pepper and ham or turkey slices for an omelet. If that still takes to long to prepare then perhaps you should have some fruit or fruit cocktail.

Don't cut out oatmeal just to stay on low carb diet. Oat fiber more than balances out the carbs. Eat as many oats as you can in as close to an unprocessed steel cut product and you're burning premium fuel - all the good stuff with none of the bad stuff.

Oatmeal is allowed on my diabetic diet's carb limit...so that's my usual breakfast. I "sin" by mixing some rasins in.

Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, raisins, almonds. Just my personal favourites but nice and paleolithic.

Eggs, sausage, bacon, veggies, chicken, cheese, BBQ. Reading above I think I will add oatmeal since I like it.

scrambled eggs in a frying quickest thing and dead simple. Hot sauce as to avoid the sugar in ketchup and your off to the races.....I use butter as I believe the intake of some natural fats to be healthy. If you go for bacon, watch for sugar content and nitrates. I use turkey "bacon" thats nitrate free as it cooks up super fast, my breakfast is ready in about 7 minutes.

Breakfast 1.
.
Crack 3 eggs (1 egg yoke) in a bowl w/slice of butter & some low fat cottage cheese...stir w/fork, microwave for a few seconds, stir again, back into microwave.
Excellent tasting done this way, and no dirty pan to wash.
.
~~~~~~~~~~
.
Breakfast 2.
.
1/2 avocado in bowl with low fat cottage cheese, 1 small can of Tuna packed in spring water...maybe add a chopped hard boiled egg.
.
~~~~~~~~~~~
.
I'm constantly snacking on raw almonds (a 3 lb. bag from Costco/wk) for roughage.
.
I don't eat any breads.
.
I drink close to 1 gal. of cold, filtered water/day.

Oatmeal is okay. It's a whole grain so you could do much worse. I get Fresh Market's multi-grain oatmeal that has stuff like flax seed and barley in it.

Low sodium turkey bacon isn't bad either.
