Anyone in Boston March 8-14, 2013

I'll be there for a TV pilot if anyone wants to get together for dinner/drinks in the evening, including that weekend.

Hugh, I'll be in NY the 8th through the 12th. Are you free on the 13th?

Pete, been meaning to call, will later today.

Thuy, let me know if you have any free time when you are here.

I am going to Boston next week too, but stuck with co-workers. Any suggestions in Boston or Cambridge that we might want to check out that aren't necessarily in the top 10 in Yelp etc. We would like to try something new that is NOT in the North End.

Thanks!

Union Oyster House. Oldest continuously operated restaurant in the USA.

I can tell you not to go to Chez Henri in Cambridge. JYL and I went last night, it has been great in the past, definitely disappointed with dinner. East Coast Grill in Inman Square is always good. But what kind of food(s) are you looking for Neil?

I've been there twice. Pretty good grub.

Back to Pelican...

How about seafood or some kind of Asian food? None, chain, so that excluded Legal. I just need to look at Yelp and see what the group will agree to. However, any tips are appreciated.

We just seem to get in a rut and go back to the same places.

Sorry for the late reply Neil, I've been in NY and just back now catching up.

Unfortunately, the best recommendation I have is in the North End.

The Daily Catch

It is phenomenal, truly a gem.

Other good restaurants:

Harvard Square
http://russellhousecambridge.com/

Boston
Island Creek Oyster Bar

Asian, your best bet is to venture into Chinatown where you can get authentic Chinese. Otherwise you are stuck with PF Chang crap.
