the pickle spear.....how useless

what a waste

the pickle spear. you cant spear anything with it. quiet, im hunting rabbit with my (pickle) spear.
you cant put it on a sandwich, well i suppose you could, but who does.
you have to put your sandwich down, after taking a bite, then take a bite of the pickle to enjoy the pickle with your sandwich. then the delima, do you take a bite of the pickle or your potato chips? decisions, decisions.
you cant cut it up to put it on a sandwich, which is where the pickle REALLY belongs.
it never seems to last as long as your sandwich, or you have pickle left over and no sandwich. regulating the pickle intake to the sandwich intake can just be too much.

oh the insanity!!

And if the deli doesn't wrap separately it gets the bread all soggy!

I usually have the pickle spear to clean my palate.

You can't, in good conscience, put your pickle in a hot pastrami and rye sandwich. It must remain on the side. And, any pickle aficionado worth his brine can successfully regulate his pickle consumption to make it last throughout eating the entire sandwich.

Place the spear inside a hotdog bun with hotdog ala HotDog Johnny's.

i went for the chips today. had some pickle pickle left over. it was just too much to try to end the sandwich, the pickle AND the chips all at the same time. guess i failed.

But which brand do we like? They're all so different. For me, it's Claussen's or nothing. And I buy the halves, not the spears.

Klaussens for me, too. I can't stand "limp" pickles; Klaussens are nice and crisp. The only thing spears are useful for, IMO, is cutting up and putting into a macaroni salad.

There can only be one common solution to every dilemma: bacon.

Toss a pickle spear in a bud light and that'll make the bid light at least drinkable....

I'm not sure one spear is enough.
