Further progress continued with qualifying on Friday for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by “Fresh from Florida,” the opening round of the 2013 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón. Olivier Pla qualified with the car’s fastest lap of the week, at 1:53.866 around the 3.7-mile circuit. Co-driver Andy Meyrick will start Saturday’s race. Neat posting of vids. Made me recall during a winter getaway early 1990's there. Mid week private track time - fun in the sun with Formula Fords. So one day we're up in the timing stand feasting on lunch having steak and crab legs and one of the guys mentioned about workers in correctional jump suits working cleaning up garbage. Not sure if that correctional facility is still north of there. LOL but what a contrast.

Fierce race so far, especially in GT, though the 911 GT3's need more speed to be in the fray. I wish the delta wing didn't have engine issues leading to the early retirement.
