With a negative MRI, $7500 would be a good deal in Michigan. I've seen better case settle for less, and lose at trial.

Different settlement parameters if it was Fire Island.

Check what WSIB pays in Ontario for a similar injury. At your age I suspect it is less than $7,500.00.

You guys can come up with all kinds of events that would warrant a different approach (sitting in living room, etc.), but that's not the case. I'm talking about blatantly trying to snag as much windfall as possible. Apparently the American way....just not my American way.

Lawyers run our country...this is why!
a little background. I am a licensed class A mechanic and retired HS shop teacher and work with my hands. I chose to retire at 55 and have thought of going back to work but I can,t feel things the way I used to with my left hand. It makes it more difficult to pick up and hold small parts work in my profession of 30+ yrs. How much is that impairment worth ?Maybe more if I were working as an active surgeon not retired I can,t enjoy my car hobby now as much either.
I'm not Jack Lemon in the " fortune cookie" here .I have been seeking / receiving medical treatment with no change whatever.
I,ve had physio, massage ,nerve speed testing ,2 MRI's and treatment off and on for over a year. The soft tissue injury(whiplash pain resolved in about 6 weeks no change whatsoever to the numb fingers.
I am getting used to it but I didn,t cause this.

The MRI's show bulging and collapse at a number of positions.
Problem is I,ve never had an MRI before the accident to see what change could explain the symptoms. Perhaps a MRI of the arm would show the pinched nerve but no one will order it done.
