Italian courts are pitbulls. They only recently, say within the last 5 or so years IIRC, finished up with the Williams F1 case - you know, the one where Frank Williams and a handful of his engineers were being tried for manslaughter in the death of Ayrton Senna.

See was very lucky to get to leave Italy after her not guilty verdict. Surprised she wasn't made to remain there until after the (this) appeal. Very lucky!

Her co-accused is still in Italy, he might not be so lucky.

To be perfectly honest I don't think she did it but that's a gut feeling greatly influenced by her looks. :rolleyes:

In other words, she did it (or at the very least was involved) but I wished she hadn't.

Either way she's served four years in an Italian prison. That's probably the only measure of justice the victims family will ever get.

Maybe she was a semi-unwilling accomplice. For instance she went along with things until the death happened and then tried to lie her way out of it. I can see how that could happen especially considering her age at the time of the murder.

Can anyone sum this up briefly? What did Knox say happened? What did the prosecution say happened to the deceased?

The police just found her old boyfriend... was in a hotel in Italy near the Austrian border.

They picked him up and confiscated his Passport and Driver's License.

Apparently he's not officially under arrest, but was a 'flight risk'... no kidding.


Bet he's wishing he left BEFORE the verdict.

He must have thought he was going to be found not guilty because I read he was out of the country and came back for the verdict

in 2008 he was given a deal - support what the Italian prosecutors were saying about those two for a reduced sentence. --guess what he gave them.

Yeah, the the Italian prosecutors believe that Amanda and her new BF BOTH felt comfortable enough with each other, both felt comfortable enough with rape and murder, to sit back and watch Merridith Kercher be bruttally raped and killed.

The Chief Judge of the latest trial has 90 days to give his written ruling and then both sides have 90 days to appeal his decision.

I wasn't there, I don't know for sure what happened, I do wonder what her motive might have been if she was involved.
