Pulled back a chunk of my portfolio on Friday from stocks to money market. Only a matter of time before there's a correction, especially since there's little substance to support the market where it is today. Can move back to stocks once the correction runs it's course.

???. RW...if the market is expected to drop from its current inflated perch, why would you hold?

because it is expected to drop, which is why you hold. When has the market ever done what it is expected to do?

I will look at my 401K options to see if anything looks correction proof, possibly bonds.

Couldn't agree more.

I wouldn't do anything right now.

The term "irrational exuberance" fits nicely.......cept for the traders. They get their cut regardless.

The U.S. stock market has a dividend yield that exceeds the U.S. 10-year bond yield.

Please explain what fundamentals tell you that there is no substance to support the market? Please be specific.

That's funny... Having said that, I think it's a great time to buy real estate in solid locations.

Never claimed to be a guru. Just instinct. Could be wrong, could be right. Specific enough for you?

It's getting a little late to buy RE.

I bought a rental house two years ago, and RE is getting expensive here.
