Cool MLB Season officially starts tomorrow

I've been waiting not so patiently ... Now I'm a happy guy .

Anxious to see how the Giants start...they are often slow ..

Should be a fun season. It should be a dog fight between the Giants and Dodgers. As it should be. But the Dodgers will fade in the end. Also as it should be.

Not too excited about my Red Sox this year. The local Phillies look to be in contention. They are always a great team to go and watch at the stadium.

The Mariners have been awful for ten years... I just love baseball though. Can't wait to listen on the old radios no matter who it is. I have been watching baseball movies all day. Trouble with the curve, Moneyball, Bull Durhum, and now For the Love of the Game....

I only wish we had an NL team in town. I hate the DH rule. It takes a big tactical aspect out of the game.

Well, the Astros won their home opener against the Rangers. Not bad!

You guys are lucky...I've only seen one major league ball game in my life...1957 in the old Yankee Stadium. It was a side trip during the '57 Boy Scout Jamboree. But hey, I can say I saw Whitey Ford pitch!

Portland Oregon kicked the minor league Beavers out of it's stadium...in order to rebuild the field for soccer! Just keeping Portland weird...

Red Sox/Yankees on right now...so, guess I'll go watch. See if the pride of Madras, Oregon does good. That would be Jacoby Ellsbury, center field for the Red Sox.

That's pretty optimistic, I'm looking more forward to watching the Rainers this season, opening day is the 12th. I love MLB playoffs the most. I pay attention to the first & last month of the regular season & Baseball Tonight in between.

There is no doubt my team won the off-season -- let's see if that translates into anything worth watching from now through October.

Ouch-he's a Yank now, altho he says he Sox at heart. Even worse, an ex Phil - Shane Victorino-is now in center for the Sox.

8-2 over the Yankees isn't a bad opening game! Looks like the Red Sox have a promising rookie in left field, Jackie Bradley Jr. So, with Ellsbury in center, a LOT of speed in the outfield.

HUH? Sure looked to me like it was Ellsbury in a Red Sox uniform out there in center...

I can't see me getting back into baseball until I retire. Right now, working 6 days a week, I value my time off in good weather far more than watching a ballgame. Go Indians !

Yes it is (optimistic)! That's another thing I like about baseball, every year new opportunities. Speaking of the Rainiers, my wife and I were regulars until the new ownership made it unfriendly to retirees and geezers. But we did follow A-rod (when he was a good kid), Raul Ibanez, and others, from the minors through the majors to retirement.

Optimism reigns!

A much better start than the last few years. I was impressed. They have to have one of the best defensive outfields with three center fielders out there.
I hope they can sign Ellsbury to a long term deal. He is one quality player that I hope to have on the Sox for many years to come.

Well, the Giants played well enough to win...for eight innings.
Kershaw was dominant,Cain as well, but the Dodger were able to get in to the bullpen first.
The NL west is so much more fun to watch when the Dodgers are good. Brings the best out in everyone,it wil be a fun summer if the D-bags,err D-backs,are in it too.
