I'm not sure that they all qualify as beautiful, but they are definitely neat.

I find this sort of stuff facinating. The more recent stuff is often just as interesting as the much older. Someone once posted a thread and link here on the board to a site put up by folks that go exploring abandoned buildings and photograph them. It was very facinating.

My friend who recently passed was into this sort of thing. We would spend hours photographing ghost towns, old mine sites, etc.
