I'm not surprised at all.

I support a grassroots rescue organization for dogs where I know the funds go TO the dogs - not those running it.

That said....this website is helpful and there are probably more that keep an eye on some of the charities...

They didn't 'steal money' from a cancer charity. They just forgot to give any of it charitably.

It happens a lot more than you think, they just got caught because of their celebrity status.

Here's list of 20 'charities' that had similar problems with the redistribution part of their plan.

Kardashians Charity Fraud........................is not what I read in the article.

What I read is this:

According to ESPN, the charity, which Odom, 33, founded to honor his late mother, who died of stomach cancer, hasn’t given any profits to related causes since its creation in 2004 despite raising an estimated $2.2 million.

And this:

In 2010, Kardashian blogged about her and Odom’s passion for the foundation on her official website, which they have also used to promote multiple eBay auctions of the reality star's clothes to also benefit the charity.

“Every time I see him working with his charity, I fall more and more in love with him,” Kardashian said. “He’s made me a better person and has taught me that anyone can make a difference if you have the desire and passion to do so,” she said.

Unless you can find quotation suggesting otherwise, it appears that Khloe fell in love with a scam artist.

I would hate to defend any thing Kardashian, but I'd rather stick with what facts are out there. Let's bash the people responsible, thanks.

People who give other people money in the name of charity mean well, but are really fools when it comes right down to it.
Yes, me included.
Over the years I've come to the conclusion if you really want to help someone, help them directly with your time and effort.
Giving money to a charity (like united way for example) does very little to help those in need IMO, but lines the pockets of those who are not in need.

Did I mention that I don't care much for united way?

Since the topic is drifting to charity org's, nothing pisses me off more than the junk mailers and phone calls for police fraternity donations. Why doesn't the law step on these dicks? Scams.

That qualifies them for celebrity status as much as me winning an autocross qualifies me to compete in F1.
