oh, thats one of the most profitable things toyota has EVER done? and it was highly subsidized by the Japanese government? tell me more about how anything subsidized means it will fail .... |

So how about ya finally list all those oil industry subsidies you've been talking about about for all these years? we've challenged you to name them, we even double-dog dared ya. but all ya did was drool and babble. So whatta ya say, you finally gonna tell us what those fantasy world things you made up are? Naw, you'll just call us names and run away like usual. Wanker is your usual response. Or maybe you'll suggest we "do a search" or "look it up" like ya usually do. Onliest problem is, we're not idiots. we know that what you are talking about is bull flop and that you just made it up. We know you've never listed the subsidies because they're pure fantasy. How do you look up something that only exists in the mind of an *******? |
suck it spammy - I've posted the subsides numerous times
were you too dimwitted to read them? or just repeating your lies in the hopes that others will forget? and, yes, you are an idiot :D |
"spammy" like many others on this board, must be gratified to know that the most prolific poster on this board has resorted, like he has hundreds of times before, to personal insults because he's incapable of coming up with anything else.
sometimes i have to wonder when the moderators will have had enough. at any rate there are lots of brand new fiskers still for sale. they are (IMO) the best looking ev out there....a shame they didn't last when others that were subsidized far more heavily did. at least for now. |
Best looking? Yikes!. They're fugly.

Leaf lease for $139/month Cheapest Nissan Leaf lease around: $139/month in California Volt lease for $299/mo My January 2013 Volt Lease Deal.. Could be better numbers if I would search harder... This withing the reach, but looking on the positive side, commuting gas $$$ will stay here in USA... Or do that I did, made my own car I like to see with 19" touch sreen, and other Hi-Tech stuff for half of the price, with clear Title on hand... JUST DRIVE... :D |
The base "S" is 62,000 (after you and I subsidize it) and you can't lease them. In a little over 170 months you could own it. Now since they don't qualify for most conventional auto loans since they are "boutique" cars you're also looking at around 8% interest on that.
Secondly your insurance costs are very, very high on a Tesla. Insurance is figured on how much it will likely cost to replace a fender, or a bumper. Well when you have one vendor supplying that part the insurance cost goes through the roof. Trust me, we checked. Such a terrible idea. |
no, a good idea but onl¥ for early adopters

Have anyone of you guys actually driven a Fisker? I have, and although it looks nice, I wasn't very impressed. The interior felt flimsy, the computer screen and graphics seemed dated, and the car felt big and bulky. I guess the only thing really interesting about the car was that it had a nice shape and offered a rarity in the car market that made the owner feel exclusive (i.e. there were only a few people in Europe who own one). Here is a pic of the one I was in....http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1365578815.jpg
