I do think it's a lot better looking than the Tesla. The Tesla reminds me of an Oldsmobile Aurora. Just kind of blah all around.

I also drove a tesla with a friend of mine who used to be the manager of the Tesla dealership in Europe. It reminded me of a Lotus Elise (one of my favorite sportscars), albeit more acceleration, but none of the beautiful high rev exhaust sounds, no heel toe shifting, and poor braking.
In fact, after my buddy left tesla, he admitted that the biggest problem with the Tesla roadster was the very insufficient brake power up front.

All media outlets, and sources close to the company claim that Tesla will announce (May 8th) a profit in first quarter of 2013. Not sure where you get your information from, but you sir are setting yourself up for some monumental FAIL!

Not complaining.

Its very sad and in my stressful life the subject reoccurres to me.
Why dont car makers do the reciprocal of what they have been offering till now.?
Cheap, midsize, good quality with a decent warranty and great financing.
They can afford to take a hit on profit at some of their money makers.
Great looks and commercials stating the pluses of ownership and propaganda of how special one is about ownership.
I saw a Volt yesterday coming into the parking lot which I was leaving.
First one on the move I have ever seen.
I thought it was cool and gave the fella a thumbs up. His grin almost went to the back of his head.
Different concept and one most likely is reading.
That vehicle would make vehicle ownership fun and interesting as heck.
It would at least give you a conscience of. ......the planet.
That would give one a conscience of responsibility.

That is worth much, indeed.

Are you for real.... You value last quarter's earnings over this week's news?...

Regardless, thanks for the compliment. My bet on Tesla has brought me several new 911s worth over the past couple of years..... That makes me far from a fool....cheers!

pyramid scheme
n.
A fraudulent moneymaking scheme in which people are recruited to make payments to others above them in a hierarchy while expecting to receive payments from people recruited below them. Eventually the number of new recruits fails to sustain the payment structure, and the scheme collapses with most people losing the money they paid in.

Well, it just hit my price cap of $52.25. Sold.

Thanks for injecting your interesting version of reality there Sammy. I guess the term "securities" doesn't exist in your world eh?

There is a small fortune to be made "shorting" the right-wing brain trust on this board. From presidential elections to stock forecasts, it's like free money.
