I'm pretty sure that most 67 Shelbys are GT350s. The "67 cars are about 200 # heavier than the 64-66 cars. They are 1" wider in between the fenders. 64-66 cars are pretty flexy! They got them right for 67-70 in my book Mine was a very early '67 car built in the summer of 66 and later 67 cars had some better add ons to stiffen them up. |

The first things I did to my '65 was add power disc brakes (Master Power Brakes) then a one piece export brace and Monte Carlo bar (joins firewall to shock towers), new front strut bushings and a rear sway bar (not too big). These things made it quite a bit better handling and braking wise. Without these the car is no fun to drive. Also bigger American mags and good tires. Got most of my stuff from Tony D Branda. Easy to restore an early Mustang, if you've got the coin. |
