I'm so tempted. Always had a soft spot for a 4 speed '65-66 Fastback. Love this thread.

I'm pretty sure that most 67 Shelbys are GT350s. The "67 cars are about 200 # heavier than the 64-66 cars. They are 1" wider in between the fenders. 64-66 cars are pretty flexy! They got them right for 67-70 in my book Mine was a very early '67 car built in the summer of 66 and later 67 cars had some better add ons to stiffen them up.

I had a 65 and a 66. Nice looking cars, but not particularly great driving cars.

The first things I did to my '65 was add power disc brakes (Master Power Brakes) then a one piece export brace and Monte Carlo bar (joins firewall to shock towers), new front strut bushings and a rear sway bar (not too big). These things made it quite a bit better handling and braking wise. Without these the car is no fun to drive. Also bigger American mags and good tires.

Got most of my stuff from Tony D Branda. Easy to restore an early Mustang, if you've got the coin.

In other breaking news, televisions made in 2009 have better pictures than those made in 1972. And computers today are a lot smaller.
