lunch time fishing
Bad day fishing beats a good day at work....
Spent 30 minutes of my lunch break fishing in one of our retention ponds. Stopped counting after a while, but close to 20 fish landed, all either monster sized bluegills or small (1lb or so) bass. Lots of fun on an ultralight rig. ![]() ![]()

That looks like fun. I'm picking up some worms on my way home, my 9 year old is a fishing fool. He will go to our neighborhood pond by himself and spend 3-4 hours fishing. It's good father/son time too.

Can't beat bobbers and Blue gills for a afternoon of fun. Spent some time with Mick Thill a few years ago. Fun fishing.

Don't know if I'd eat anything out of a retention pond.

Me either... but then, I don't eat fish for the most part. Probably has something to do with catching and then cleaning 150 'gills when I was 5 or 6....
