lunch time fishing

Bad day fishing beats a good day at work....

Spent 30 minutes of my lunch break fishing in one of our retention ponds. Stopped counting after a while, but close to 20 fish landed, all either monster sized bluegills or small (1lb or so) bass. Lots of fun on an ultralight rig.

That looks like fun. I'm picking up some worms on my way home, my 9 year old is a fishing fool. He will go to our neighborhood pond by himself and spend 3-4 hours fishing. It's good father/son time too.

Can't beat bobbers and Blue gills for a afternoon of fun. Spent some time with Mick Thill a few years ago. Fun fishing.

Don't know if I'd eat anything out of a retention pond.

Me either... but then, I don't eat fish for the most part. Probably has something to do with catching and then cleaning 150 'gills when I was 5 or 6....
