New addition to the family
My only complaint; the BRZ’s gearbox feels just like the 915 when cold.

Suhweet.
My girl toy has a FR-S and it's a blast to drive. It needs proper rubber though. I can't stand the bridgestones.

I agree, the Prius rubber leaves much to be desired. However it sure likes to wiggle the rear-end. Plus, the factory brakes need some attention.
Mods to date include: -Tein Flex coilovers. Lowered car approx 30mm (1.25-inches) -Cusco rear camber bars -Perrin cat-back exhaust -OZ Ultraleggera wheels (18x8, ET 48) Fitted with 225/40 Potenza RE760's -AP Racing Big-brakes. Front 6-Pot, rear 4-Pot. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Turbo or SC... I'll wait 1-year to see what stands the test-of-time.

They are very nice cars, and surely will be reliable for 200k miles +, with tons of aftermarket since one is seeming on every corner where I look now.
Don't take this the wrong way though, With the purchase price plus all the mods you are going to do to it, you could have bought and Exige. Sorry, but it is what I tell everyone who goes for the BRZ/FRS. I drove the FRS. It felt like a nice commuter car. Did not put a smile on my face. I got out of it, drove my Lotus home. That put a smile on my face, even after the 1000th time, it doesn't disappoint.

Sorry, didn't notice you were in Canada. You definitely get shafted on Lotus availability up there.
Also, vancouver probably gets more rain than a Lotus could handle as a semi-daily car. I've had to deal with driving in heavy rain several times with mine and I remember each as a life-threatening experience.
