Anyone going the the LBGP tomorrow (Fri)?

I have seen 1 or 2 Pelicans (or R Gruppe members) there in the past. I've heard of parking corals, but I've never done that. Who is doing what?

Wow. Totally forgot about the race. It's been off my map since the IRL took over. But I was hanging out with nameisbauer last weekend, and he was thinking of scrounging up some tix. I ran into Magnus last time I was there, so just head to the coffee line and you'll find him. He's pretty hard to miss.

It's free with a local newspaper coupon. In the past, you could get coupons at 7Eleven and Toyota. Maybe they still do that.

Well at least you're consistent. No ALMS for you or Pirelli Challenge? All crapwagons? Too bad. I kinda like the Ferraris. But I guess that pains you too much.

Well, I might agree with you on the "screw" Tony George. But I don't let him spoil my fun. And although the Indy Car doesn't "jump off the corner" as you said before, they still manage 165-170 down the straight. I wonder how they do that.

It's a POS, $75,000 spec car conceived by The Idiot Grandson to save American open wheel racing.

I was down at the Pike Tuesday night... walking around thought how cool it would to be there when the cars were running... but not this year.

Have fun!

I read the thread title as "LGBT" and thought that Milt was trying to tell us something.

this weekend is gonna be in the mid 80s and dry.
that means the So Cal ladies at the GP doan wear as much as they have been of recent, 'specially since they're just coming out of hibernation and need to show off some.

Lots O'stuff to check out, I hear there may even be some cars there.
I gots two people saying they have free tickets waiting for the weekend. One is an OK dude but a bit of a drunk, the other just wants to sell me stuff.
Prolly choose the drunk as long as I drive and can leave iffn he gets carried away.

Sound advice, but that's mean giving up access to the suite with free food and beverages etc.

I doan drink much anymore, I'll think I'll study on it some until I see it your way.
