anything interesting car related in Florida

Gonna be in Orlando 27 November thru 5 December, with a rental car. Anything to see within 200 miles, eg motor racing etc(not theme park related pl-eeeeeese).

Daytona Motor Speedway is not far from Orlando. Not sure if they have a museum or tour. Too bad you won't be there for the Rolex 24 Hours in January.

EDIT: you never know, there might be some teams testing there.

You said "within 200 miles". This place is 192 miles from Orlando.

My wife and I took a docent-led tour here last year. We were the only ones on the tour. We were given a detailed four-hour tour of the collection. They have a Porsche wing. Well worht it for a car guy.

Wow, thanks so much for posting that! I'm going to be in Ft. Myers over March break, and that's a short drive from where we're staying! Never heard of it, but I'll definitely check it out!

Sorry for the brief hijack

Sarasota Classic Car Museum is supposed to be pretty good. About 130 miles from Orlando.

Hey when you guys come to Naples for REVS pm me - I haven't been there yet. It's 15 min from my house. Also, lots of good places to eat.
