If you are turning back the clock and havent seen it check out The Wire. Damn good.

HBO had one a few years back called "OZ". Was a hardcore prison drama. VERY good...

I'm assuming you've seen the Sopranos?

Sparticus was quite good too.

The Walking Dead many people LOVE this one.

Showtime had "Sleeper Cell" about a terrorist sleeper cell....was good.

I'm currently going through the old Miami Vice series....:)
