I seem to have the uncanny ability to detect and avoid train wreck threads. I either never click on them, or lose interest once the thread topic is no longer being discussed. I only ever circle back once in awhile when I see they have been closed and wonder why.

I've developed the capacity to return to a thread, and then just ignore it when someone turns into a green meanie. Purposefully, and with a complete absence of malice, simply disengage from the conversation.
Does that meana I'm all grown up now? Nahhh....  angela
