Hoping Sergio loses,, big time
Sergio has always been a complainer, it's everyones fault he loses, when I saw him spit in the cup after he picked up his ball one time I lost whatever respect there could have been. Now he is crying again and I hope he blows it big today. He is the only golfer I have ever watched that I was happy when he missed a shot.

I'm with the OP on Sergio.
Personally I don't LOVE Woods but I do root for him always. You Hodgey are calling him a role model no one else.

For me it is anybody but Tiger( the bad tempered SOB). There is so much talent out there. I would particularly like to see an unknown win. For me it is not about nationality.
Spitting in the cup? Not so bad. A couple of years ago a golf player from Oz dropped the F word after his drive went off into the bush. Lacked class but most of the golfers are decent, honest human beings. Phil Mickelson, G. McDowell etc true gentlemen like me but my golf sucks..... ![]() |

I root for any team, or individual, (sans the Ravens & Patys), that show greatness. Seeing non breakable records being broke by your generations teams and or individuals is pretty cool in my eyes.

Tiger plays good golf, he may cuss, he may not be happy when he loses, but he is the person that makes the game interesting and he is good. |

Tiger is only good for Tiger. He doesn't give a **** about anything else.
He may be the best player but he is not good for the game in the long haul. IMO. |

So you're saying he leads by example.
My opinion of him will never change, I don't care what he accomplishes. You are right that he does more that Obuma and Biden, hell; I do more than they do. |

Garcia left a lot of cash on the table after his first water ball on the 17... not the first time he's given up after he blows a chance to win and slides way down the leader board. It's like he doesn't care anymore.

I'm a Tiger fan, guy is chock full of flaws but is a true example of what can be done. He changed the game from a casual sport to intense competition. I don' like all aspects of him, but it's hard for me not to respect his approach to preparation.

The "spit" did him in for me. I hope he never wins again.

Karma bit Sergio in the ass on 17 and 18 and I loved every minute of it! Any player that blames their poor shots on anyone but themselves are true asshats. Glad the golf gods handed him a slice of humble pie. Doubt he'll change his m.o. though, this is just another episode in his history of blaming others for his ****ty play.
