Sure. I buy used shoes all the time. If they stink, they won't be on the shelf.

Depends. I have bought used runw shoes from the road runner outlet in San Diego. Once worn and they were fine...50% off.

I had a buddy try and sell his shoes in the Vegas airport on the way home. It was a good thing he sobered up a bit before Customs got hold of him.

And no, no one bought them.

Why buy used shoes? Brand new ones are relatively cheap.

I wear a small size, and regularly pick up Magli and Bally for 25 bucks.

It's always been popular to buy used Doc's. I don't think any pair I had through college were "new."

Doc Martins used to be 100% UK made. The quality was amazing. Not surprised at all to find them on resale.

Because of customer complaints they now make a "made exclusively" in the UK line. The quality is amazingly different. My wife's new pair are of the UK make and they are just like the original product from a decade ago. Worth every extra penny.

No. No use clothes, furniture, bike parts (not normally), just a use, old house and a bunch of use cars. A use bike saddle is disgusting with all that butt sweat on there.

I can afford whatever shoes I like, thank you. I have no problem wearing a dead mans shoes if they are in good condition. We are all engaged in a rather transitory enterprise.

That's great to hear. They are still my favorite shoe and I am wearing a China pair right now. Can't wait to get UK made ones again. That was a big part of the attraction to the shoe - traditional UK craft.

I have bought a nice pair of boots used for $2 on a flea market before. Best pair of boots I owned. That's been a while. Generally I am not worried about he hygiene rather than what a worn in pair of shoes would do to my feet. I can't tolerate any bum feet, trying to be a runner ...

Used furniture is a no-no for some of you guys? My family has saved tens of thousands on furniture. Our house is furnished very nicely - all high line stuff - maybe last year's models - all off CL.

I am just strange that way, but not my wife. I think she lives for thrift stores.

Besides the eww factor of athlete's foot and the like or the fact that the average person's feet sweat 1 cup of liquid a day and you are wearing their shoe, what about the support and padding? Someone has already changed the support to fit their feet and the padding will be worn to their feet. This is why running shoes are recommended to be swapped after so many miles.
