Just saw it on a commercial......what's the schizzle?

The schizzle is that it's a beauty. I like curves.

sc_rufctr 05-23-2013 07:20 PM

Looks a bit like an Aston. Not a bad thing.

I can see you in this Joe ;)

HHI944 05-23-2013 07:24 PM

Friggin gorgeous and I'm told that they're wild to drive. Come in variants from a 300hp v6 to 500hpv8 with a turbo v6 in the middle at 400hp

HHI944 05-23-2013 07:26 PM

Word is there'll be a 570hp variant released later that'll be an absolute track beast

Bill Douglas 05-23-2013 09:42 PM

Wow, it's good looking enough to be a Ferrari.

porsche4life 05-23-2013 09:47 PM

Damn JB! For an old guy you've got good tastes! ;)

Shame about the whole dash going up in smoke risk... ;)

RWebb 05-23-2013 09:48 PM

Shouldn't be a concern.

Yes! That was my first thought when I first saw it; I pictured it in my mind with an egg crate grill and the prancing horse on its nose (I've long lamented that Ferrari didn't, at least, keep vestiges of the egg crate like, e.g., BMW kept its kidneys. :().

No, no it's not the next E type...there'll ne'er be another E type ('twould be sacrilege to claim such, eh whot?!)

DARISC 05-24-2013 12:19 AM

I'd be soooo ecstatic to own a BRG, 3 litre coupe at $70k.

stuttgart46 05-24-2013 05:27 AM

Like most Brittish cars, this one runs on smoke. If you see smoke leaking out drive to the shop immediately to get it refilled.

The 8 has a base of 90

The V8 models apparently sound like the earth is ripping itself apart. Combine that with the looks and it is 110% drool-worthy in my book.

If it depreciates at the rate every other modern Jag has, you only have to wait a couple of years.

But it is one nice looking car.

Sound should be pretty much the same as the current XKR, same engine.....he'll, they even put em in the XJ. XK has different pipes. The XKRS sounds so mean it could make that pony on the front of a Ferrari **** itself and go running for the stables

Cannonball996 05-24-2013 06:37 AM

Jaguar needed something to compete with the boxster, z4, and slk. however I think this car is over priced to a point where its not going to be very competitive in the market.

matthew-s 05-24-2013 06:55 AM

Feel free to disagree, but it needs a coupe version as well . . . .

Macroni 05-24-2013 07:00 AM

Very expensive......
