Went to San Diego yesterday to see the kids.
Took 2.5 hrs to get home but it was worth it.

This is my first father's day since my dad died in Feb. It is tough, but I have to remember the good times. I was very lucky to have loving and caring parents. I miss them both. For the last few years we had dad over for a good steak dinner. Tonight I had leftover pizza. Dang, I miss ya dad.

My 24 y/o son and I went to the range and fired off about 100 9mm rounds each. He just bought a new Beretta and was eager to try it out. I brought my 30 y/o S&W 9. Had a burger and a few beers. He's borrowing the new RV next weekend. We talked a little about him starting to put money away for retirement, 401k/IRA, he needs to do it.
